LD:NorthEast’s BBC Children in Need funded Early Years project has been featured by retail giant ASDA in a short film recently released on their website. ASDA colleagues and customers are massive BBC Children in Need supporters and earlier this year they sent a team to meet and film with some of the families involved with the project.

David Robinson, LD:NorthEast’s Chief Executive, comments “Our early years project has gone from strength to strength. Families and children have seen real progress that they may not have had if it wasn’t for the continued generosity and support from people supporting the BBC Children in Need appeal each year. We are delighted to have been featured by ASDA and can’t thank their colleagues and customers enough for the amazing support they give to the appeal.”

The film features three mums, Danielle, Sam and Shauna (pictured here) and their daughters Grace, Maisie and Grace. Their stories are really special and we are very proud to be part of their lives. You can watch a short version of the film here (112 seconds)
