Our Management Team
David is leading the organisation as it looks to further improve the quality and reach of its services. He brings considerable senior management experience from the charity sector and has a successful track record in developing, as well as re-designing projects and services, working closely with customers, carers and staff teams in making sure that people get the best possible value and support. He also brings operational and business development knowledge and experience to the organisation, having worked across the voluntary, public and private sectors.
Jacqui joined LD:NorthEast in October 2012 having worked for the statutory and private sector in North Tyneside. Jacqui is Operations Manager and oversees the delivery of all of our services and projects. She brings vast knowledge, experience and passion to oversee our work and ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Finance & Resources Manager
Lisa joined LD:NorthEast in October 2017 having previously worked as a manager for another local charity for nearly 20 years. Lisa is responsible for the finance, administrative and office related functions, and managing the assets of the organisation.
Julie joined LD:NorthEast in November 2012 having previously worked in statutory services. Julie is responsible for coordinating our projects which include:
- The Big Lottery Reaching Communities funded Tomorrows project
- The Children in Need funded Early Years project
- The North Tyneside CCG funded Health & Wellbeing project
- The ESF / Big Lottery funded Wise Steps project
Personalised Support Coordinator
Sharon leads on our Personalised Support Service, supporting adults and young people, designing and organising support to meet each of our customer’s needs. This can include support on an individual or group basis to access opportunities in the community. She also oversees our short breaks / alternatives to respite services, making sure the people we support have choice and control over deciding where they want to go and what they want to do.
Short Breaks Lead
Amanda is responsible for developing / organising our Short Breaks / Alternatives to Building Based Respite service. She helps people arrange bespoke holidays with 1:1 support or in a group with friends. Amanda also deputises for Sharon within Personalised Support.
Personalised Support Team Leader
Holly joined LD:NorthEast in 2013 having previously worked in statutory services. Holly is responsible for leading our team of personalised support staff, having had many years experience in a supporting role.
Community Inclusion Programme Lead
Lindsey joined LD:NorthEast in 2013 and has developed throughout the organisation to now lead our new Community Inclusion Programme. This offers small group support within the community.
Fundraising & Events Lead
Lisa joined LD:NorthEast in 2017 having previously worked in fundraising for a national charity. Lisa is responsible for organising all of our fundraising activities and events, and for looking after after our fundraising volunteers and supporters.
